Fertility supplement research with open journal and evidence-based wellness tools

The Mission

Lifespan Method exists because health decisions should be driven by evidence, not marketing. The supplement industry is full of bold claims and thin science. We cut through that noise by going directly to the research — peer-reviewed studies, clinical trials, and established biological mechanisms — and translating it into practical, actionable guidance.

Our focus is fertility and reproductive health because the stakes are personal and the misinformation is rampant. Every article on this site answers one question: what does the evidence actually support?

About Joseph

Joseph Fernandez — founder of Lifespan Method

I’m Joseph Fernandez — a software engineer, health optimization practitioner, and father. I’ve spent over a decade researching and applying evidence-based health protocols for myself and my family. Lifespan Method is an extension of that practice: the same rigor I apply to my own health decisions, published so others can benefit from it.

My engineering background shapes how I approach health research. I read primary sources the way I read code — systematically, looking for what’s actually supported versus what’s assumed. I cross-reference clinical data, verify dosing against published protocols, and distinguish between strong evidence and preliminary findings. That analytical discipline is what makes this site different from the typical supplement blog.

I grew up in a healthcare-aware household — my mother was a nurse, and evidence-based health practices were part of daily life long before I started writing about them. That foundation, combined with 10+ years of personal health optimization, means the protocols on this site aren’t theoretical. I use them. My family uses them. I only publish what I’d apply to the people I care about most.

I’m not a doctor or dietitian. I’m an engineer who brings systematic, data-driven thinking to health research. Every recommendation on this site is cited, dosed according to published research, and clearly distinguished from anecdote or speculation.

Why Fertility

Family is my north star. When my own family’s health journey led me into fertility research, I realized how much conflicting and low-quality information exists in this space. Women and couples trying to conceive deserve better than generic listicles and unsubstantiated claims. They deserve access to the same research their reproductive endocrinologists read — presented in plain language with practical next steps.

That’s what Lifespan Method delivers: evidence-based supplement guides, dosing protocols, and dietary strategies built on published research — not trends, not influencer endorsements, not manufacturer marketing.

How We Work

  • Primary sources first — we start with peer-reviewed research, not other blogs
  • Mechanism matters — we explain why something works, not just that it works
  • Practical dosing — every supplement recommendation includes evidence-based dose ranges, not vague suggestions
  • Transparency about limits — when the evidence is preliminary or mixed, we say so
  • No conflicts of interest — product recommendations are based on ingredient quality, bioavailability, and third-party testing — never commission rates
